Mick,

I am pretty sure you have received all the compliments that you can handle. That you shook the hands and signed the autographs of tens of thousands of people. However, I want to say thank you even though I have never met you. Thank you for being a down to earth, kind, family loving, and fan friendly man. Thank you for showing others not to judge a book by its cover by writing your own books. Thank you for actually taking an interest in politics and talking about your opinions in a civil manner even when others may not agree with you. Thank you for not choosing the party lifestyle and breaking the mold like so few do. Thank you for being nice to your fans. Thank you for letting people know that not all celebrities and pro wrestlers are full of it. Thanks for being the kind man that many of us see in Beyond the Mat and in interviews. Whenever I see the video of you as a young man jumping on the mattress, I believe in myself. You made Dude Love up and yet you realized your dream of being able to play him in an actual pro wrestling organization. I feel like I could be who I want to be. Thank you.

Ariel

Whether the revolution will be successful or not, and what that means for the fate of the various characters, is left up in the air until the very end, and the last one hundred or so pages are particularly enthralling, emotionally and physically brutal and forcefully written.

If there's one criticism to level at the book, its the way the novel refuses to give us an insider's perspective on Tecan.
